schemes that benefit large corporations and wealthy at the expense of the middle class.
· We are protecting against greed – like risky plans to privatize Medicare.
· And Democrats are vowing to end this arrogant One-Party Rule by Republican leaders more focused
on improving their public image than on addressing the needs of Pennsylvanians and Schuylkill County.

Schuylkill County Democrats believe:
1. Leaders must reward those who work hard and play by the rules, and punish those whose greed
leads them to cheating the system.
2. Schuylkill Counties middle class needs a break. Recent tax cuts for large corporations and special
interests have shifted the burden to the middle class family. Our middle class is overburdened by the
current tax system and without a targeted tax cut for the middle class, those families will continue to
struggles to pay for education, caring for elderly parents and saving for retirement.
3. We believe our government must step in to check against greed that is threatening our economic
security. We will fight to protect Schuylkill County families from corporate CEOs that slash jobs, ship jobs
overseas and destroy pension funds.
4. We must work together for a brighter Schuylkill County, State and National government!
